Food was amazing theres no doubt the cookers know what they are doing! Service: our waiter was great! She was very kind and helpful. Now that atmosphere was a little awkward. Could be just us that feel this way but dont let it stop you from getting this amazing food!

No bad reviews at Brownstones... How could there be? The place is clean, the service is great, the food is well prepared, what else is there. Oh yeah, the servers are pleasantly sweet and always there to see all is going well. And they have some cool food selections too. Lastly I asked to have eggs prepared medium well and they came just that way, amazing how easy yet impossible to get at most places, but not at Brownstones they got it right! Made the smoked salmon Benedict so delish! Maybe you might wonder how the fried tater tots go with these classy dishes but they are pretty good so who knows?

The food is terrific. Anything on the menu is full of flavor, and sure to tantalize the pallet of anyone who loves good cooking with amazing special coffees, and spirited drinks like mimosas! The attendant’s are enjoyable, courteous, and equipped to answer any questions concerning your meal or specialities. The restaurant is clean, with a lovely decor, and the French toast squares with strawberry’s and sliced bananas, is to die for! So bring your family and friends, and come on into “Brownstones” eat, be merry, and have a good time!

I had brunch at Brownstone and it was a nice experience. I ordered the eggs Benedict on toast with bacon, and it was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, making for a really enjoyable meal. Highly recommend!

Everything I've tried has been expertly prepared and flavorful. Portion sizes are generous and presentation is thoughtful. No digestion issues. The only minor disappointment is that toast is now an extra charge with the "start your day" egg meal, which feels a bit nickel-and-dime for an otherwise excellent establishment. Service 5/5 The staff here truly shines. They're attentive without hovering, keeping coffee cups filled and checking in at just the right moments. Everyone I've encountered has been friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely seems to enjoy working here. Service is consistently prompt even during busy periods. Parking is now plentiful, and the addition of a traffic light makes entering and exiting much safer and more convenient. This improvement alone makes visiting much more enjoyable. Value 4/5 While not inexpensive, you definitely get what you pay for here. The quality of ingredients, preparation, and overall experience justifies the pricing. Portions are satisfying, though the a la carte approach to basics like toast feels unnecessary given the price point of main dishes. Overall 5/5 Brownstones has become my go-to breakfast spot for good reason. The combination of excellent food, attentive service, beautiful surroundings, and improved accessibility makes it worth every penny. Whether meeting friends or enjoying a solo meal, this place consistently delivers a top-notch experience that keeps me coming back.

Blackstone's in West Islip is a gem! Despite a brief 20-minute wait (which speaks to its popularity!), the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Parking was plentiful and hassle-free. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, making us feel welcome and attended to without being intrusive. My cappuccino was absolutely delicious – the perfect start to a wonderful meal. And the Cobb salad? Fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. But the stars of the show were the breakfast potatoes. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned to perfection – I could have eaten a whole plate of them! Blackstone's offers a delightful atmosphere and truly delicious food. It's easy to see why it's so popular. We'll definitely be back!

Went to brunch at this new spot near home on west Islip. Got there on a Sunday around 1100 & had to wait about 45mins. It was well worth the wait as the food was delicious, the drinks were great & they even had seasonal ones for the holidays. Our waitress Kristen was great & kept us covered with the hover. Much appreciated. I’ll definitely be back with a bigger crew.
